what do i do

I have this hamster and he is kind of losing his fur and he has little sores on him what can I do to help him.

Where is he losing his fur?  Is it all over, or in a specific area?  What do these sores look like?  Hamsters have scent glands on both hips - some hamsters lose their fur around them and they can appear as dark spots.  Are you sure it isn't this?
