Nip training

Hi

My ferret is now nine weeks old and in the last week has started biting very hard never hard enough too draw blood but my hands are begining to look like a scratching post. I have tryed saying no, scurffing and nose taping but none of them seem to work. Is there anything else I can do to stop him from biting so hard?

Actually, you are doing about the most you can do.  You tell him no, tap his nose and place him in his cage and walk away.  Go back a little while later and try to play with him again.  He nips again, then you repeat the process.  It will take some time but if you keep at it, you should do fine.
