Finicky Eater

Question
Hi,
I have a three-year-old shih tzu who weighs about 15 pounds.  He has had a few teeth removed so I worry about his dental health.  
He eats New Balance (it comes in a roll and reminds me of summer sausage) and his weight and coat seem okay.  I supplement him with omega 3s for dogs from the health food stores.  I wish he would eat a dry dog food.  I don't want him to lose more teeth.  He chews on the smaller twistie chew bones and I get him to eat a treat that is supposed to clean tartar off his teeth.  He will not let me brush his teeth no way, no how.  I have tried to train him to let me do this but no way.  Any suggestions?

Hi Linda , The Roll dog food you mentioned is a good one.... I sure do understand about the dental problem your shih tzu has.
Here are some options for dental health:
