As far as her age she is old enough to breed. If you don't want any complications you must make sure that you breed her with a male that is smaller than her. The optimum weight ratio is to breed a 5 pound female with a 2.5 to 3 pound male. The time to breed them so she will get pregnant is between her 7th day and 13th day of her heat cycle. A word of caution, if you breed her with a male that is the same size as she is or larger you are asking for trouble.
