Question
We recently bought a new yorkie, 4 months old when we bought him. The owner said that he has chewed and eaten a little rug, brought him to the vet and he has xrays done, and enema, and was given laxatives, I have vet papers showing that. Well I noticed right away that he was straining to goto the bathroom, like he was constipated. He urinates just fine, but he always seems to strain and lately he has been wimpering while trying to go. Sometimes he can pass stool, sometimes he cannot. Sometimes there his stool is watery. Now when we bought him he was being fed ol'roy, I changed that to eukanuba puppy formala for small breeds yesterday. I dont know whats going on with him

Answer
Matthew,

Because this seems like a medical problem in all honesty I am not qualified to answer it.  Your best bet is to take your puppy to the vet asap.  While you have the vet papers showing what they have done so far I would expect that the vet who did the work would have suggested a follow up visit and would have told you that if the problem did not get better right away that you would need to bring him in again.  Foreign objects in the intestinal tract are nothing to fool around with because they can kill in a very short period of time.  Take your new puppy to your trusted vet as soon as possible.
