Whether or not she can have them on her own is going to depend on what your definition of a teacup Yorkies is. Is she 3 pounds or 4 or 5 etc. It is also going to depend on the size of the male. Is he smaller than her, larger, the same size? The gestation period for yorkies is nine weeks. If she was bred in the middle of April then she could be due at any moment. As far as how many puppies that will depend on the male. It is usually the male genes that determine how many puppies and what sex they will be. Yorkies can have anywhere from 1 to 5 puppies. The smaller the Yorkie is the smaller the litter will usually be.
I must warn you that most breeders will not breed a Yorkie smaller than 4 or 5 pounds. Breeding a teacup that is 4 pounds or less is very dangerous for both the puppies and the mother. Your mother needs to take the female to the vet as soon as possible so that she can discuss the possible complications with him/her before her female goes into labor. Her vet will be able to tell you how many puppies she is carrying and if he thinks that she will be able to deliver them.
