I have two boys yorkies and one girl. both boys are bigger than she is, and im
afraid she is pregnant. she sleep all day and has become very irritated when they
come near he,r she is only 5 pounds, and they are 6 and 8 pounds, Should i be
worried?

Answer
Yes, you should be worried.  You did not give me enough details to determine if she is pregnant or not but if she is then she is at a high risk for complications.  The typical breeding is between a 2.5 to 3 pound male and a 5 pound or larger female.  The rule of thumb is to never breed a female with a male that is the same size or larger than she is.  Since you don't know if it was the 6 pound or 8 pound male that bred with her there is no way of knowing just how complicated the birth will be.  My fear would be that the 8 pound male got her pregnant.  That would be the worst case scenario because the puppies would probably be too large for her to deliver.  That would mean an emergency c-section.  There are many dangers associated with c-sections because it is surgery.  Also, if she goes into labor in the middle of the night and you do not know about it she could potentially expire before you discovered that a puppy was stuck because it was too large for her to deliver.

You should speak to your vet to find out what your options are.  There are several different ways you could go with this to prevent a bad outcome but that is something that you and your vet would have to decide.
