Newborn Yorkies

Are there any specials things, that need to be done to a yorkie? Such as clipping there tails, like a rottiwieler? Besides taking them to the vet for a check up and there shots.

Are you referring to a puppy you are purchasing or a litter of puppies that you would have as a breeder?  As a breeder you have to have the tails cut when they are less than a week old.  The dew claws are usually removed at the same time.  They get their first set of shots at the age of eight weeks.  Since the puppies are usually sold when they are about eight weeks old, any shots that are needed would be the responsibility of the new owner.
