Question
MR. humphries

hello i just purchsed an 8 week old fawn male dane, i wanted to know if u had any tips involving potty training and feeding, i take him out right when he wakes up from a nap and about 10 minutes after he eats yet he is still going on the carpet, i find me self watching him all the time as soon as he starts sniffing around i take him out but it seems like iam always taking him out side, also i feed him a cup of dry food 4 times a day it seems like he is always thirsty do i just give him water when he eats or should i make water available to him all the time? if i do that its gonna be inpossible to potty train him? and tip you could give would be greatly appreciative thaks

Answer
If you read the instructions on the pack it says water to be available at all times.  The best way to feed it is to add water to the dry food a few minutes before you feed him.

Some dogs take a little longer to get the idea of going outside.  Persevere and he should soon learn.

Don't forget to increase the amount of food as he gets older.
