Buster needs a friend

Question
I was thinking of getting Buster a friend. I have been very busy with wedding plans and a new baby on the way, I'm afraid he gets cooped up far too often. Never for very long  but just too often. So my fiance and I are thinking of getting a second pup too keep him company, so long as buster promises to take care of his new pet,LOL Seriously though will this be more work for me in the long run or is it really better to have two beagles than one?

Answer

Maria, I was curious if you found out what was causing Busters drooling?
As for two pups, that would be twice the pleasure and twice the work. The two would play together but, their goal will be for your(and other pack leaders) attention and love. It would be twice the training. You can't cut the training to half for each. Puppies need the one on one human contact with their new pack leader. It is also a good idea to get a new pup after you have trained the first pup. Also, the cost will double as well.
If you do get a second pup it is a good idea to get one of the opposite sex.
