Question
I have 2 female great Pyrenees [1] 3yrs [1] 6yrs, 2 heelers [1] female 4yrs [1] male 2yrs. All neutered and spayed. The female heeler will red zone on the great pyrs at any time for no reason that I can see and when she does there is no stopping her, otherwise she is very sweet and will mind. Don't know what to or how to control her. HELP!

Answer
Hi Donna, Even though it appears there is no reason for your dog to act this way...in her mind there is a reason. Unfortunately for her...that does not give her the authority to act aggressively. Try this...have her drag a leash around the house. Fill a spray bottle with one half white vinegar...one half water. Adjust the nozzle to get a fan type spray. Hold the bottle behind your back and wait for the behavior to ensue. When it does pick up the leash and squirt her directly in the face. Better yet...set up the situation so you can act immediately. Continue to set up these events for at least the next month. Let me know if this helps. I will be surprised if it does not.Contact me again if you need more help. Wendy
