Question
hii

today we bought a new puppy called rassie
we r worried she will become destructive when she is older, she llikes to rip things up and we tell her no and she seems to be learning but she has also bitten 2 of our other pets, only playing but it did hurt them.

have you got any tips on how i could eliminate this behaviour?? she is a quick learner and already kind of know's to sit.

she is a red x blue cattle dog

thanks

jess

Answer
Hi Jess, First make sure she has plenty to chew on.Remember that she is just a puppy...and is used to biting on her littermates. The best way to correct her is to fill a spray bottle with one half vinegar and one half water. When she starts to get too rough tell her "no" and squirt her in the face(fan type spray). Use this bottle for other corrections, such as jumping on furniture or people. Do not be concerned if it gets in her eyes....as she will learn very quickly.Hope this helps. Wendy
