My cat had one baby, but no more

I really hope you can give me some advice. My cat had a kitten around 10am this morning and she had not had another one and it is going on 3pm. I am not really noticing any contractions. Is this ok?

Hi,

If she has just stopped having contractions, then do not worry. But if she is passing a lot of fluid or is contracting heavily, then get her to the vet immediately. Cats often take a break for as much as a day between kittens. Are you sure that there are more kittens inside?

If she has more kittens in her and does not start having them within 24 hours, take her to the vet.
