giving a cat a live mouse

My Boyfriend wants to give my kitten (6 months old) a live Mouse. I think he is insane and I am scared she will get hurt some how. Is it okay to give a cat a live mouse.

Most kittens don't know what to do with live prey, their mother's have to teach them to hunt and kill so she would probably just play with it which would be terrifying for the mouse.  A better idea is a toy mouse covered in rabbit fur, they go crazy for them!  You can get them at most pet stores or on line at somewhere like fostersandsmith.com.
