Feline Herpies

Question
My cat was given clavamox 125mg tablets T70050 for feline herpies breakout. However, I have been given this before but the tablets seem to be bigger and I cannot get the cat to take them. What do you suggest. I have to call the doctor later but I was wondering what alternative I have. Thanks

You might ask your vet to mix up liquid clavamox and try giving that mixed in a meat baby food (only ingredients should be meat and meat broth).

Sometimes you can crush the pills and coax them to take it in meat baby food. Or, you can cut the pills in half and see if you can pill her one half at a time along with a little butter.

Pilling cats is a royal pain.
